Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Pantry mobile application or any other products and services operated by Suansoft Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pantry or any Suansoft Inc service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Pantry is a household grocery and pantry management app that helps you track inventory, plan meals, and collaborate with household members. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of Pantry, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are harmful to other users or our services.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within Pantry, such as recipes, shopping lists, and household data ("User Content"). By using our service, you grant Suansoft Inc a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide the service to you.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
- Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users without their consent
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Pantry — including but not limited to the app design, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Suansoft Inc and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or brand assets.
7. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.
8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
If Pantry offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUANSOFT INC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $10 USD.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Suansoft Inc and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Third-Party Services
Pantry uses third-party services, including Firebase by Google, for authentication and data storage. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at mike@suansoft.com. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
